Ms Malti is a female e-rickshaw driver from Kaisarganj, Bahraich. Lack of financial independence she couldn’t stand in her way to inspire her own and standing against all odds.

The Vahini (female e-rickshaw owner) programme, whose objective is to empower rural women through electric vehicle ownership and hand-holding support for ease in mobility gave her the opportunity to afford the independence and stability.

Ms Malti has now been driving E-rickshaw for nearly a month and has secured admission for her children at a prestigious school.
