2. RENEWABLE ENERGY STATISTICS
Renewable Energy Statistics, an annual publication of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, provides a comprehensive account of electricity installed capacity and electricity generation across Non-Renewable Energy (Non-RE) sources and a wide spectrum of Renewable Energy technologies. The publication is compiled using data drawn from multiple authoritative and institutional sources. For the purpose of international comparison, statistics published by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) are utilized. At the national and state levels, data pertaining to installed capacity under Non-RE sources and electricity generation are sourced from the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), Ministry of Power.
